Our highly successful and rapidly growing health insurance comparison service is predominately run from the Melbourne office located in St Kilda road. With over 150 staff (and growing), we are looking to hire a hands on and driven professional with at least three years of relevant experience. Whilst our head office is located in Sydney, this role will be based predominantly out of the Melbourne office.

About the Role

The Salesforce Administrator/Systems Analyst is a key position within a small and collaborative IT team that supports the core customer and sales advisor technology platforms and resources. By its very nature this is a broad role where the successful applicant will have the opportunity to hone and expand their skill sets across core areas such as:

  • Salesforce Administration – the Salesforce Champion of the company, this role is responsible for the administration, refinement and advancement of the Salesforce instances.
  • Dialer Management and Strategy – this role is responsible for implementing and maintaining the outbound contact strategy through our dialer application. Crucial to this is the collaboration with the operational business and sales team to assist them in achieving key sales targets through technology.
  • Business Analysis – this role is a key player in ensuring the technical team are delivering what is required by the business, by actively collaborating and clarifying requirements.
  • Project Management – work with key stakeholders within IT and the business to define and deliver key BAU and projects. At times this role will be expected to perform the role of Project Manager or support others whilst they perform this role.
  • Supporting Transformation Activities – as our business continues to grow and evolve from start up to an SME organisation, this role will be expected to assist in assessing needs, and executing key transformation activities and projects.
  • Operational Support – to support the team and the business, it is expected that all employees, from CEO and Executive down, will need to roll up the sleeves and perform operational work when required in order to ensure that key deliverables are met.

We are looking for someone who embraces the diverse nature of this role, and in doing so, makes their own stamp on it – carving out their areas of expertise, whilst also welcoming new and exciting challenges as the business continues to accelerate at a rapid rate. As such, the successful applicant will need to be flexible in approach, open to dynamic debate and without heavy-load process requirements for delivery seen in traditional corporate organisations. At the same time, this role will be an enabler for the refinement of process within IT in order to support our changing needs.

Skills and experience

The required experience and competences for this role are:

  • A minimum of three years Salesforce administration experience. Applicants with experience in the consolidation of two separate instances or the design/rebuild, will be highly regarded.This is a critical project for 2019 and this role will be a key player in this activity and project team. Experience must be across both Classic and Lightning.
  • Understanding of Call Centre Operations, particularly outbound strategies
  • Outbound dialler management – use of dialer application to drive and improve contact rates and sales advisor productivity.
  • Relevant experience of working within a sales environment, and providing high quality IT service across multiple business lines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, where they are credible and persuasive at both management and business level. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely is critical.
  • Business analysis – strong experience in gathering, and where necessary, documenting business requirements and turning a project concept into a tangible outcome.
  • Project management – provide basic project and stakeholder management to ensure tasks and IT change/development is co-ordinated.
  • Experienced in general IT support and troubleshooting including onboarding/offboarding, account maintenance, security, asset management and networking.
  • Basic SQL/SOQL/JavaScript scripting skills
  • Logical, analytical and creative approach to problems
